Aerobic Bacteria are a general term for aerobic bacterial species, mainly including Bacillus subtilis, aerobic fermentation bacteria, lichen bacillus, nitrifying bacteria, actinomycetes, and the vast majority of fungi.

 

In terms of wastewater treatment, aerobic bacteria can convert organic matter in wastewater into harmless substances such as carbon dioxide and water, thereby reducing the biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, and total oxygen demand of wastewater, and purifying the wastewater. Meanwhile, aerobic bacteria can also convert ammonia nitrogen in wastewater into nitrate through nitrification, further reducing the pollution level of wastewater. Adding in the aerobic tank can help improve the removal rate of COD, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, etc. By using aerobic bacterial agents, the solid settling capacity in the sedimentation tank can be significantly improved, and the number and diversity of protozoa can be increased. This not only helps to improve water quality, but also helps to improve the ecological balance of sewage treatment systems.
