Description:
Polyferric Sulfate (PFS) is popularly favored in many sewage treatment plants as a sludge coagulant superior to the commonly used aluminum salts in settling velocity, pH scope of application, and environmental compatibility. When PFS dissolves in water, a significant quantity of highly charged polymeric cations, namely polynuclear complexes of iron with hydroxyl bridging, such as [Fe2(OH)3]3+, [Fe2(OH)2]4+, [Fe8(OH)20]4+, [Fe3(OH)4]5+, and [Fe2(OH)3]6+ are generated. Therefore, in the biochemical reaction stage of the sewage plant, the use of polyferric sulfate can change the activity of the sludge to a certain extent and enhance the dehydration of the sludge.
Characteristic:
1.High quality and high efficient ferric salt inorganic polymer flocculant;
2. Excellent coagulation performance, dense alum flower and fast settling speed;
3. Excellent water purification effect, good water quality, no harmful substances such as aluminum, chlorine and heavy metal ions, no water phase transfer of iron ions, no toxicity, no harm, safety and reliability;
4. The effects of turbidity removal, decolorization, deoiling, dehydration, sterilization, deodorization, algae removal and removal of COD, BOD and heavy metal ions in water are remarkable;
5. The PH range of the suitable water body is 4-11, and the optimal PH range is 6-9. The PH value and total alkalinity of the purified raw water change little, and the corrosion to the treatment equipment is small;
6. It has obvious purification effect on slightly polluted, algae-containing, low-temperature and low-turbidity raw water, especially on high-turbidity raw water;
7. Less dosage, low cost, and treatment cost can be saved by 20%-50%.
Advantages:
Coagulation – Drinking Water & Wastewater
Cold Water Treatment
Heavy Metals Removal (arsenic, selenium)
Odor Control
Phosphorus Removal
Sludge Thickening Conditioning and Dewatering
Struvite Control
